Our Tirol village is location in the middle of the Merano Reigion in South Tyrol. And you, as our guest, have a box seat above the city of Merano. Tirol villag is location at 600 metres above sea leve and offers a large network of hiking and walking trails and many other activities in nature.

Arriving by train in Tirol village

If you are planning to arrive by train, please take the train to the Merano railway station which is only 12 minutes by car from Tirol village and the Hotel Erika.  Enjoy the beautiful scenery of South Tyrol when you arrive by train.

Arriving by bus in Tirol Village

Arriving by bus from Switzerland

Südtirol-Express is the bus service for our guests from Switzerland.

Arriving by bus from Germany

For our guests from Munich, there are two possible bus services: Ferienexpress and Südtirol Bus.

The Ferienexpress runs from spring to autumn every Saturday and Wednesday from Munich directly to our front door. The South Tyrol Bus travels from Munich Airport to Tirol Village and back 4 times a day: More information

Further buses run from Stuttgart, Duesseldorf or Berlin with boarding opportunities e.g. in Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig and Nuremberg.

Flight options

Cologne/Bonn - Verona with transfer to Tirol village

Every Sunday from spring to autumn there are direct flights from Cologne/Bonn to Verona:
Cologne/Bonn - Verona: departs 10:55 am - arrives 12:20 pm
Verona - Cologne/Bonn: departs 12.55 pm - arrives 14:15 pm
including transfer to Tirol village

"Low Cost" to South Tyrol

More and more airlines are offering cheap flights to nearby airports around South Tyrol. Examples of flights with a low-cost transfer connection:

to Verona (VRN) - from Frankfurt with Lufthansa
to Venice/Treviso (TSF) - from Frankfurt /Hahn with Ryanair
